Rust Repair
For removing the seal I just slipped a razor blade between the aluminum frame and the seal and ran it gently around the edge. Came out quick and clean. I used a double suction cup handle thing from Amazon which helped in removing and seating it by myself.
I picked up most of the tips and tricks from these three videos. Although 2 are about windshields the approach was the same.
